Government and Regulatory Bodies

The UK Government sets the context within which we operate through laws, regulations, general policy and strategy. Regional and Local Government set the specific parameters within which individual developments take place.

All levels of Government are placing an increasing emphasis on the role business can play in delivering sustainable development, and more specifically sustainable communities.

We aim to work with Government to inform their approach to sustainability. For example, we are currently developing a new strategy to improve energy efficiency in all of our homes, thus reducing dependency on fossil fuels and minimising green house emissions.

We are committed to promoting efficient use of energy and water, and will promote sustainable solutions and waste water management solutions on all of our developments.
